Stellenbosch

Today we decided to take a trip to beautiful Stellenbosch, where I went to university many decades ago. The town has changed a lot since then with lots of shops selling African art, obviously aimed at the tourist market. These flowers are in front of a store called Oom Samie se winkel, meaning Uncle Samie's shop. It sells all kinds of old fashioned sweets that I remember from my childhood, as well as other edible and non-edible stuff.
