Kew Bridge

Today I visited the National Archives, its one of those places which to drive is in a straight line but to go by train is a journey to London then across.  I chose the latter as I'm never keen on driving far.  Charing Cross was closed so I went to Canon Street which is not a problem just a few extra stops on the District line.  So far so good but a trespasser on the line meant everyone was thrown off the train at Chiswick and I had to complete the journey on a bus which took ages and the board instructions at the tube station were not clear for people like me who had never been at the station before!!   Still I eventually got there and because I finished earlier than I anticipated and t was still sunny I strolled down to the bridge.
