He's behind you!

As we were walking by the Lancaster Canal at Hest Bank we got talking to another camera-laden wanderer who had been trying to find an elusive kingfisher for a while. At which point Jonathan spotted the very bird perched in a bush right behind the man! We managed a few quick shots, but the unlucky man couldn't get his lens on in time.

We chatted with a passing cyclist about art and poetry, and he regaled us with two of his poems.
