I'm sure today was meant to be about lazing around doing not very much at all. I know for certain that I had a plan to spend the afternoon on the sofa, drinking tea and reading. Oh well. On the plus side we now have 4 blinds up in the conservatory, lots more bits cut and glued for the Alice buckets, furniture removal sorted, cookies in the tin, roast dinner in our bellies and a bundle of presents bought. Though none of the above - the boy would not be smiling if he presented his dad any of those on father's day. And as cheeky as he is, he's not that cheeky.

The day's not over yet so still time to kick back and put my feet up.
