It's Been a Long Time Coming

Be still my beauties, was all I wanted to say as I adored the Kelpies today.  On a crisp clear freezing day when the steel was singing Hosannah in the highest, they were spectacular. 

It's been a long time coming, I've promised to visit the Kelpies so many times but never made it.   I reckon I will struggle to stay away now.  They took my breath away and made a little tear run down my cheek. 

The smile they have left is welcome.  Be still my beauties for I will return.


It's interesting how little time it takes for us to adorn such beauty with hot and cold drink stands though, and who the hell thought planting some trees in front of the vantage point would be a good idea?
