above the waterfall

A shopping morning ...... really needed to restock the kitchen cupboards and freezer. The sky was beautiful going into Kendal and the sun bright.

By the time I got home all had changed. I had plans for a longer walk but there was such a cold wind I ended up just doing a circuit of Stock Ghyll Woods. This is the view from the top bridge looking down, just before the water tumbles over the edge to the waterfall.
