Surprises!

I only ordered these tickets on Wednesday so it was quite a surprise when I came home today and they were on the door mat.  I am going with Becca and Tim.

This was the second surprise today as my colonoscopy was far more straight forward than I anticipated.  The worst bit was getting the canular in to my arm.  The nurse tried twice, the the consultant tried, luckily on the second attempt he was successful, I think he could have done an air punch.  I did declare that I am officially awkward!  After that the rest was fine, no discomfort, great view on the camera, he removed a polyp and took some biopsies to check for microscopic colitis.  

After popping into Walden for a coffee we came home and I slept for a couple of hours.  Geoff has gone into work for Burns Night so I am catching up on knitting, Broadchurch, then going to watch The Voice, and hopefully still be awake by the time he gets back.
