Stocks

Another beautiful, bright, winter's morning and another visit to Berkswell village stores. Today I took the opportunity to photograph the village stocks on the green. It was a bit muddy underfoot, but worth it to get the shot. I love the shadows cast by the tree and the posts, but I wouldn't fancy being locked up in the stocks much. It's a good job I've lead such a blameless life!
