These huge stone Buddhas are at Bayon another temple near Siem Reap, which we went to see this morning, having watched the sunrise at Angkor Wat just down the road. LooseCanon has blipped that.
Not that I'm putting myself in the same league, but there is an exhibition of mono photographs taken in the Temples by John McDermott, who has taken many mono and infra red images in South East Asia. It prompted me to show this one in mono.
He has raised money for a children's hospital in Cambodia with his book Elegy.
Speaking of which, we are hoping to go to a concert later at a Children's Hospital close to our hotel, by another benefactor Beat Richner raising money for the hospital. You have to admire these people for their dedication.
