Burns Supper

What a fantastically social day!
The morn was spent in the cosy school room at the Secret Herb Garden,with lots of lovely mums of p1 boys and girls, drinking coffee and eating scones.
The afternoon was spent ferrying children to swimming and getting my finger dressing changed. It was C's first time going swimming with just his pal and no grown ups. Very exciting for him!
My blip is from a fab evening spent hosting an impromptu burns supper with some lovely families. (Be reassured we bought ready peeled and mashed turnip!) It was a really lovely eve, all the kids have been learning scots poems at school so we had poetry recitals, scottish dancing, and signing from the kids and later on the guitar came out and there was singing Burns and drinking whisky til the wee hours. A fab Burns night!
