Wander in town

While the other half of the family went to see "Annie" (the show, not the new movie), Laura and I had some time in the city.
I love this arcade, it's little quircky (read: expensive) shops and the atmosphere of time standing still. But it is not standing still, today I have discovered there a quite authentic* looking Japanese eatery. It was open, but I wasn't hungry. Next time.

Oh, the flags are not a permanent feature. Australia Day is approaching. It is this Monday and it is a long weekend here.


*I am no authority on Japanese cuisine, but the little trays full of little dishes looked exotic enough to be authentic.
