Correa flower

This is an Australian native. Also called native Fuschia. They a tough shrub of various heights and don't mind a bit of shade which adds to the options in landscaping.

Today we (Mr 59, 36nows father in law and I) started painting the house next door. We got a considerable amount done without a few problems consisting of old age, vertigo, clumsiness and an attack of the vomits! My husband didn't fall on me but the bucket of water did! It was so hot I didn't get changed and appreciated the sudden cool change.

It has been storming all afternoon and cooled the place down a bit, it started out too hot. Tomorrow we are going to Max's 7th birthday party. We got him a monopoly game, I was given one when I was about 9 and it is still in working order, but a bit tatty. Hope all the Aussies are having a nice weekend to celebrate Australia Day.
