The Outlander series....

Over the past  10-15 years I have read the series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. These are 'Outlander'(known as 'Cross Stitch' in UK and here), 'Dragonfly in Amber','Voyager',  'Drums of Autumn', ;The Fiery cross', 'A Breath of Snow and Ashes', 'An Echo in the Bone' with another in the series due out this June. They are historical fiction mostly set in 18th century Scotland. She is an amazing author- fabulous description and plausible characters.Now a TV series has been released.....not to be shown generally on TV but available through Lightbox. My daughter downloaded them all and I now have them on a memory stick... The series is called Outlander- and so far it  is staying quite close to the books which is nice.A lovely way to relax.
