As She Walked By, Rochester

Rochester has such a split personality, caught between the religious, the historic and the secular. It has a magnificent cathedral that dominates it's environment, and today the bells were peeling constantly while I was there. It also has a very historic past with the spectacular Norman keep that is such an arresting sight. It is also a fantastic place to go for an afternoon tea or evening meal as there are so many places to go and eat and drink, particularly in the pedestrianised high street. I though this shot captured the secular and religious nature of the town - I really liked the woman's jaunty movements against the religious iconography. I'm sure she didn't realise the image behind her as she walked past.
