Spotlight, Callendar Wood

I was out on Thursday morning and out again, but this time at a more social event, on Thursday evening, so opportunities for photography were somewhat limited. However, between the two altogether different events, I managed to find time to make my way into Falkirk and have a walk for an hour or so through the Callendar Estate.

A sunny, but bitterly cold, day allowed for some fine views of light and shade - a change from the grey days we've had recently. I liked this one of the late afternoon winter sun shining through the trees onto one of the paths in Callendar Wood.

And, by the way, the film "From Scotland With Love" with a sound-track by King Creosote, performed in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of the Celtic Connections festival on Thursday evening was absolutely wonderful. A great way to end the day!
