Seagull . . . again!

Very happy that it's the weekend (a 3 day one too!) and by staying later in school last night, it means I don't have to go in this weekend. Well . . . I might pass by tomorrow just to get a few photocopies done, but an hour max. Sunday's a public holiday for the 4th anniversary of the revolution, but with the passing of the Saudi King, all 'celebrations' have been cancelled, flags fly at half mast and a week of mourning was announced. Rather timely.

We had a nice relaxed day in the flat and our intention to go to Zamalek tonight was called to a halt when, on the way there, we could see the traffic was horrendous coming back into our area (Dokki). The roads had been blocked off in the direction of the university, where potential 'celebrations' might take place. We decided to cut our taxi journey short and went to Seagull fish restaurant again instead. We knew we could walk back from there at a push. Very nice dinner of grilled prawns and blue fish.
