Grey Havens

This sort of view is probably very familiar to anyone living on the west coast of the Pacific North West. It has a subtle beauty. It may be grey and damp but at least it is not raining.

My daughter isn't coming this weekend after all. She had a last minute opportunity to go to a conference in Vancouver. She seems to be doing well on her placement with the Ministry of Education and much as I'd loved to have seen her, this is a better way for her.
