To The Barracks

Ruthven Barracks has always been a landmark for me.  It marked "almost the end" of the drive to Aviemore which I made many times as a youngster and quite a lot of times more recently. But I don't remember ever actually getting off the main road to go and visit.

Today I made a point of going there - and was rewarded with some beautiful late afternoon sunshine to light it up.
