Flint Road
Cold and grey with the wind turning from ENE to SSW. The 'feels like' temperature is down in the minus 3-4 range. But the sun broke briefly through the cloud and milky mist.
I was heading for the Foreland on foot but once more was captivated by the curves in the flint road. You wouldn't believe it now but 50 yards from here was a battery of three 9 inch guns used to shell shipping in the IIWW.
I went on to take photos of the cliff and the fulmars plying the wind below the cliff edge. They are beautiful birds and as close as we are likely to get to an albatross in the UK.
More of today's takings on the blog.
