Chesterton windmill
As there is a pending move to Warwick it only seemed right to head out that way today. Locally there is this windmill surrounded by open countryside which is at threat from house building, which would of course spoil the outlook of this lovely windmill. hopefully it will be opposed but i'm not holding out much hope.
Chesterton windmill was erected in1632, most of the gearing is made from wood. The millstones are on the first floor, the sails are made from common cloth.
