Moorland Magic

That's the name of this morning's walk and when the sun came through as we started to cross Harden Moor, it truly was magical.

A touch of pink in the sky as we passed through the woods of the St Ives Estate suggested the sun to come but some streaks of cloud delayed it's break through.

The paths were much firmer than yesterday and quite icy in places. Much of the snow had thawed yesterday but there was still plenty to be seen on the higher ground.

We were delighted to be out to experience some of the winter Moorland Magic this morning.
