A moment on Weatherlam

We lingered over coffee this morning - allowing the early clag to lift & us to head out into the glorious Tilberthwaite valley. By the time we got up onto the fells the sun was really breaking out - a glorious third day on the trot. Stopping at the little footbridge (expertly navigated to by a more & more confident A.) at Dry Cove Bottom it was sunglasses and picnic time.

Its a running theme of my Blips that there are moments to be found everyday, especially so in winter - and these last three (I've back blipped the previous two days - so please take a look - Hole in the Wall, Lingmell ) days have proven that. By the time we'd finished our snacks, had a drink and wrapped up again the weather was already turning - we blagged the Rigg's and just got down ahead of the weather. But, and this is the key, we got a moment like this - and they last long in the memory.
