Early walk

An early burst of low sun encouraged me to walk round to the old pier at Swanbister, which I haven’t done for many, many weeks.  I carried home a large heavy plank that had been washed up.  Even CMC was impressed.  She is now away to Stromness to visit my mother (when, after yesterday’s escapade, they will no doubt take out a wax effigy and a few pins).  She is going to buy some wool to knit for an expected baby in Stonehaven.   CMC left the house in her new jersey which she has just finished.  Very thick wool which she bought whilst in Iceland.  Oh and this afternoon I am informed that I have to attend the dentist.  They won’t be using the wax effigy.
