Working again this Week

A 5am start for me today. I am at the Radisson Royal Hotel all of this week... its an INTERESTING place! Nothing like the other hotels I've worked at. I am beginning to see why Scandinavian design isn't always everyones cup of tea. I love white, but this place seems to take it to a new level! (Watch my blips over the next few days.)

It's the first time we're using this hotel and they were not prepared for me when I arrived at 6:30, so there was a flurry of activity to get my desk ready for starters. The real surprise came when the covering for the table was brought... a made-to- measure tablecloth made of... leather!!! Tan I might add. It's Too Much Man!

This is the seating area in the Business Centre... The padding on the wall makes it look more like a "safe room" in an institution, but I thought it was pretty cool as far as Business Centres go!

At the end of the day, I had to go down to Celsius to make sure the 3 course lunch they provide meets with our delegates' expectations. Happy to say it did. Posh nosh too! Great lecturers; some lovely delegates including one from the Finance Dept in the office. It's all good.
