Chrysalis Mark 2

Yesterday I spoke of my little Monarch pupa sweating.  Well, it's warm again today, and here's the proof.

Tiny beads of watery fluid all over it - you may need to look in large for the detail.  If you do that, you'll also see that the wings are forming.

Apologies for the irritating shadows.  I forgot to go out this morning, when the sun's in a better direction.  Although thinking about it, there wasn't much sun until mid-day anyway.

Thanks to everyone for the the hearts and stars for yesterday's skipper - it's all much appreciated, not to mention the very nice comments.

Yesterday I had a really bad day step-wise.  I didn't even crack 8,000 steps, and that's because I was stuck to the computer pretty much all day.  Today's not much better, so I'd better lift my game I think.  Mish gets a long walk this evening.
