Matthias Church

Today it was back up to Buda to see this fascinating church. It dates back to the 14th century. It's most striking feature is the brightly coloured tiled roofs. We eavesdropped on a tour guide who was explaining that each tile was coated with a self cleaning finish. The assembled group looked up at it in wonder.
'Only joking ' he said 'it was totally replaced last year.' Shame!
