We watched Surviving the Holocaust this evening.
It's the story of Freddie Knoller who survived Auschwitz and definitely recommended for anybody that didn't watch it.

Stories of the Holocaust always horrify me and sicken me.  That anyone could do that to other human beings seems abhorrent, and that someone somewhere thought it would be a good idea seems even worse.
But then human history is littered with this sort of thing, just not quite on such an industrial scale...you'd hope that somewhere along the line lessons would be learnt.

the other 491 were gassed
