Shower by candlelight....

... not as Romantic as it sounds!

We had a bit of a storm last night that apparently knocked out the power to over 70,000 homes in Scotland - we unfortunately were one of them!

The storm also took out a huge oak tree not too far from the house - and we didn't hear it.... maybe it fell over really slowly....?

As I headed for work M was heading to the doctors for minor surgery on his toe - ouch! All went well though but it does look really really sore! 

Oh yeah - and the power came back on at around 10.30am so all those dead pheasants in the freezer stayed frozen....!
