Dodgy Lock

Over the last couple of weeks our front door Yale lock has been playing up.

It's been that little catch you click up and down that,s been the trouble, it has dropped down a few times and locked us out.

So this morning I thought I would take it off and see if I could tighten the little catch up. To my surprise the back plate was riveted on so couldn't get into it. I decided as I had the lock off, I would exchange it for a new one. 

Nothing is ever straight forward though, so I had to do some modifications to the door frame so it would fit.
