Jamaican Bramble

I pass along this lane quite often on dog walks and have recently noticed these bramble leaves with their strange colouring.  They remind me of the Jamaican flag.  J spent quite a lot of time working in Jamaica a few years back and I did fly out with our son to join him for a week over an Easter holiday.  A very interesting island with huge contrasts between the rich and poor - beautiful countryside, wonderful rum and lovely people.

Off later to see'My Old Woman' and then a choir rehearsal.

J should have made it to the top of Kilimanjaro by now and be on his way down.  I hope all has gone as well as it could.
