UFO (Unidentified Flowery Object)

I had a lovely day catching up with some friends I hadn't seen yet. I am leaving my run a bit late as I fly home in a week. My sister and I are going away tomorrow for the Australia Day weekend to visit more friends in the King Valley. 
This little flower was dancing around in the breeze on its little tentacle like thingies (real botanical term) looking a bit alien. It is some sort of succulent but I was unable to find it in Google. 

Oscar the dog was doing his wall climbing thing tonight but I already had my blip. Maybe tomorrow.
I am turning of comments as I will be without internet for the next 4 days. I am already so far behind with visiting your journals so will take a break for a few days.
