Flesh Fly
Identification – genus sarcophagi sp, flesh fly.
Not the prettiest of diptera. But, it is a bug and I do bugs. This is one of those flies that you do not bother to try and identify beyond genus level, as they are only distinguishable to species level by microscopic examination of genital organs. Even I don’t want to get that close.
I am close enough to tell this is a female though :)
