It's taken me two weeks, but I finally found a monarch butterfly that wasn't fluttering out of reach.They may be quite numerous in New Zealand, but in Melbourne they are very uncommon, so I was very happy to finally see one up close. They are the most beautiful, large butterfly. It even has a white spot on its eye.
