Not a Rat

His bushy tail tucked under him,  the squirrel sat eating for quite some time this morning, until I decided he had really had his fill and sent him on his way up the tree!  
I missed Winterwatch tonight - did the grey or the red squirrels turn out to be the most intelligent?
Today, a grey, cold, wet and dreary one outside, was the day for doing my preparations before filing my tax return, so it was pretty grey indoors too!
And a PCC meeting tonight. 
But I was home in time to see most of Wolf Hall! 
No grey squirrels in Cromwell's time!
