Decorating Part 1

My husband announced last November that he was going to decorate the living room sometime this year. His plan was to replace the old surround sound system with one of the new style 'sound bars'.

This was my cue to buy him the sound bar for Christmas and, by waiting until Black Friday, managed to acquire one from Amazon with the enormous saving of £10.

Unfortunately, because he now has the sound bar he's brought his decorating plans forward and has already made a start. As a result, the living room is in turmoil. This is the start of it. The television has been relocated and mounted on the wall and we've ripped out the old mantel piece and hearth and replaced them with a 'flame effect' fire.

I'm sure the finished room will be worth it in the end but I fear it's going to be a long job.
