Dukan, Dukan't?
No idea! In a last ditch/desperate attempt to drop 10 pounds, I may have started the Dukan diet. I say that, but I haven't exactly stuck religiously to the 'Attack' phase, which is meat only...:-( I've long since cut out carbs, save for the odd biscuit in the staffroom at the 10:30am sugar slump, but today I nixed that too. Even if that meant removing myself from the staffroom :-/
The problem is my tummy sticks out, quite noticeably, and it's begun to make me very miserable. I fear it might mean my thyroid is acting up again, but I had a blood test yesterday and should get the results next week. I really hope it's not, as it causes huge problems, but it might explain why the scales keep going up despite deprivation! That or I've just not been as strict with myself as I once was!
I had a great session at gym last night, including a weird contraption to tone arms. I felt fine this morning, but by the afternoon my arms and upper abs felt sore! Oh well, it must be working!
I'm having an early night today, and it is so needed!
