For Ann

After a courageous battle against cancer my lovely, inspirational and brave friend Ann passed away this afternoon - minutes before I took this blip of the first snowdrops of 2015. At only 49 she has gone too soon leaving her father and son.

I have only had the privilege of knowing Ann for 3 years but in that time she taught me so much. She saw everyone as equals with something to bring to the party.

My last happy memory is watching her with Ellie sat on her knee two weeks ago colouring in. As we left the hospice Ellie decreed I liked the lady Ann. So did we all. RIP Ann. Xxxo
