Frozen dessert

Although it hasn't snowed at this level for a few days the temperature has rarely moved above freezing even during the day and so the white you can see is actually frozen snow. Walking the dogs has been very slow going and quite treacherous underfoot as the paths are simply mounds of ice. In this field the grass is frozen even where it is showing green, and these horses with their warm coats on and are gratefully tucking into their tea.
