White on Time

I was up early this morning and managed to drive the seven miles to Huddersfield in the snow without too much trouble although the traffic was bad as everyone was using the main roads.

The snow worsened as the day progressed and by mid afternoon buses in Halifax were suspended. 

I drove home without a hitch - the winter tyres on the car are brilliant.

The snow is still falling, however some of the buses have been reinstated. Here is the last bus of the day (18:06) making it's way down the lane. It was following in the tracks of the snowplough and travelling at a snail's pace on this stretch of the lane. Nevertheless it was bang on time
