Must have walked passed this loads of times but never really 'seen' it. Amazing what you see when you look as I'm sure many fellow blippers have already realised.

This is a statue of a local Ipswich lad, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey , who was born in c1473 and died in November 1530. Wolsey was Henry VIII's most important government minister who acquired much power which ended only after he failed to secure for Henry a divorce from Catherine of Aragon.
