Some colour on a dull day

A dull and cool May Saturday saw me inside working on church accounts until late afternoon, when I got out in the garden. I did some hedge trimming, digging out unwanted roots, and planted out a few pea plants. In one break, I noticed the brightness of these shrubs on what otherwise was a drab day.
