Was on kids this morning at the north gathering of church. Would normally cycle up but thankfully my housemate was driving that way so gave me a lift. So thankful as a few of the roads were still very slippery. Was my first time leading the group I normally just help with. We looked at God being our friend focusing on the story of zaccheaus and how jesus was his friend when nobody else was. The kids were great and thankfully enjoyed the craft I had planned (making friendship brackets with pipecleaners and beads).

Relaxing afternoon before evening church. Got to hear 'the story' of my friends engagement yesterday, fair to say he has set the bar quite high for any others planning to propose soon!
