Plowtering in the gutter

Another day walking along the muddy track of life; we could do with a few windy days, without precipitation, to help dry the ground out.  Called Ian in Dounby to hear of his unfortunate battle against deep veined thrombosis, and his damaged knee.  Under the circumstances he sounded quite cheery.  Consequently the Canasta league has got off to a slow start.

CMC applied Danish oil to six new doors we are going to hang, whilst I put in extra draught proofing and sealed a leak in the porch roof.  Baz slept soundly in the airing cupboard.

I am going to listen to Remembranza by Murcof.  It arrived in the post today.
