Olympic Torch part 2

Was up early after last night's late night in Plymouth for the torch relay. This time to see it in Kingsbridge. Was a really buzzing feel good atmosphere, lots of people turned out to be part of such a special event. The excitement built as more and more convoys of police, promoters and the Olympic buses themselves appeared! Got brilliant views of the torchbearer running to the Kingsbridge Quay and the second one leaving! (that is who is in the picture!) just a really magical and slightly surreal Sunday morning!

For all those who have yet to see it or to be a torch bearer themselves, it truly is magnificent to witness and be a part of.

Now for a bit of a nap (too much excitement) before getting everything ready for a week's residential with the Year 5 & 6s in Bude next week! Will def be ready for a quieter weekend by Friday!
