Poetic Coincidence

A somewhat frustrating day for lots of reasons but a thank you text from a colleague has just made me think a bit more positively about the important bits. And the day was also notable for a pretty remarkable coincidence. Today, I taught Keats' poem 'St Agnes Eve' on the eve of St Agnes Day. I twigged when I was prepping for the lesson; it took Y12 a little while longer even with the date right in front of them. It was last lesson of the afternoon so perhaps their days had been overly long too.
