The Scabble Tea Towel in St. Andrews
To explain to those who don't know, the Scrabble Tea Towel I'm holding here next to the famous Swilcan Burn Bridge on the Old Course at St Andrew's Links in Fife (familiar to millions of golfers world-wide), has been all over the world.
The tea towel is symbolic of past efforts to seek to restore features of the Scrabble game app lost when the old Gamehouse version was replaced by a new one from Mattel and EA games. However, over time, it has become clear that EA do not intend to do make the changes we seek, but the campaigners continue as a friendly group to just socialise and exchange views about any number of friendly topics. The tea towel, circulating round the world, is symbolic of the group's commitment to that end. It is spending a few weeks with me in Scotland before jetting off the Southern hemisphere for its next outing.
