In need of elbow grease!!!

We discovered this teapot when clearing out G’dad’s house. It was being used as a storage container and now that it is empty I have been trying to discover its age etc. I wasn’t able to decipher the hall marks, so took it in to an Antiques / Vintage Centre yesterday.

It is silver plated, don’t know it’s age and is not valuable.  The value wouldn’t even pay for the taxi to Stansted Airport, let alone a flight somewhere. It doesn’t have any family history, so no sentimental value, so what do we do with it? I plan to polish it and see what it looks like.


Book club meeting today.  I’ve not done much reading in the past 6 weeks and only returned one book Sarah Thornhill by Kate Granville.
