Hotel Vista
Since I first picked up a camera and began to travel I have always taken a picture looking out of my hotel window. These images are wide and varied in their subject matter. Some show vast snowcapped mountain scapes, others show blue seas disappearing into the horizon. Many of them depict groups of air conditioning units clinging onto loose concrete walls or corrugated rooftops covered in cigarette butts. I even have one image that looks onto a brick wall that I could reach out and touch. This one is not so bad.
Techie Alert: This panorama image was stitched together using six different images and processsed in PTGui, Photoshop and Lightroom.
For my own amusement more than anything else I have decided to do some backblips from the same date, if one exists that is. One of the advantages of working in digital is that my archive retains dates and times of every image that I've taken. Maybe some of these images will jog my ever failing memory into some form of improvement.
On this day in the year 2000
