Bright spark

Decided to try out some two hand coordination today for lighting a match with a kitchen blow torch and pressing the shutter button at the same time.
Very simple setup, focused camera on match held in a clamp, switched to manual focus, 1/250th ISO 100, F6.7
black background 30 cm behind.
Then having a handheld kitchen blowtorch i switched it on and moved the tip of the blue flame closer to the match head, as soon as the match ignited I simply pressed the shutter button. so it's a bit of a hit or miss, but easier to capture than a paint splash.
I can't think of any other way to get the match lit without something else being in the frame, The intensity of the match igniting gives a lot of light which throws the blue flame back into black! , the flame itself gives all the light necessary to have the match stick visible So no photoshop required!
