while the cat’s away ….

Yesterday’s accident (or rather near miss), turns out to be a bit more serious.  I spot an online news item about it; a number of vehicles, including lorries, crashed into those that had stopped to help.  So I’m even more lucky to have got out of the way.  Those Guardian Angels sure worked hard.

I’ve just had a message from Anniemay.  She’s about to go for a swim in the hotel pool.  I thought you’d all like to know that.  From my study window I can just see that the ice has finally melted on the canal.  I shan't  be going for a swim.
